Carol Martinez

Carol Martinez joined the board in 2021 and is currently a project manager at the California Coastal Conservancy, where she helps to manage public funds and grants directed at coastal restoration projects, climate resilience, acquisitions, and public access. At SCC, Carol particularly enjoys projects that provide financial assistance to bring people from underserved communities to the coast. She is excited to be a part of the EDP team and help communities burdened with pollution. Carol hopes to continue learning how to best help community members overcome barriers and face environmental injustices. Carol attended and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, in May 2020 with a major in Environmental Policy and Management with a concentration in Society & the Environment.
